About Bennett Aviation
Mitch Bennett started Bennett Aviation. He is a Military Veteran of two Branches of the Armed Forces and a former Flight Instructor of three flight schools. He came to Tennessee for an Engineering Opportunity when aviation was still suffering a major down fall. While he was here he fell in love with the mountains. With his love of flying and now his love of the mountains he decided to create Knoxville Mountain Flying Adventures. His teaching credentials and experience coupled with affordable flight rates provided by Skyranch of East Tennessee is a win for the customer and for his strong desire to teach and fly. Mitch's successful teaching style was adapted from his two training programs: a College Aviation Program in Iowa and an Accellerated Aviation Program in Minnesota. He takes the best of both worlds and applies them to his students to effectively grow into strong competant Aviators in a shorter period of time.
In addition to teaching, he wanted to expand aviation to allow others to experience the his same excitement of Mountain Flying, while getting to stop at other Airports to refuel and enjoy a nice lunch (otherwise known as the famous $100 Burger).
